Ragan on Phoenix
“Phoenix is a unique little place. It’s kind of hard to get a handle on. You race like you’re on a short track. You’re on the brakes a lot, forward drive’s important and you really need to roll the bottom. But the second lane is coming in. The asphalt’s maturing well. Goodyear’s been able to adjust the tire compound a little bit and bring some softer tires, so it lays more rubber down.”
“For our Front Row Motorsports team, we’re going to have Jacob Companies on our Ford Fusion for their first race, so that’s going to be exciting to get out there and see how our short-track, one-mile program stacks up.”
