ON Semiconductor Joins CSLFR At Phoenix

Circle Sport – Leavine Family Racing (CSLFR) has announced a new partner for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway as ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ON), driving energy efficient semiconductor innovations, will be the primary colors on the No. 95 Chevrolet SS driven by Michael McDowell.

“We’re excited to introduce another technology company to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series eco-system,” said Jeremy Lange, VP at CSLFR.  “We’ve seen rapid growth with our team this year which has resulted in 10 Top-20 finishes and career-best performances at 14 race tracks.  The partnership with ON Semiconductor is another example of our team’s hard work paying off.”

Based in Phoenix, ON Semiconductor, is a leading supplier of semiconductor-based solutions; helping engineers solve their unique design challenges in automotive, communications, computing, consumer, industrial, medical, aerospace and defense applications. The company will activate at the race track by hosting an extensive guest hospitality during the Can Am 500 weekend.

“We’re big fans of the CSLFR team and look forward to be represented on the No. 95 alongside our partner in security Malwarebytes,” said Kevin Haskew, senior vice president, chief information officer. “Together we can emphasize to the NASCAR community that ransomware is a very real threat and to take action to protect and defend themselves and their data.”

Following a ransomware attack earlier in the season, CSLFR forged a partnership with Malwarebytes, the leading advanced malware prevention and remediation solution, to NASCAR as a sponsor of the race team.

The Can-Am 500 will take place on Sunday, November 13 at 2:30pm ET.  Fans can tune-in to cheer on the No. 95 ON Semiconductor Chevrolet on NBC and MRN radio.
