David Ragan Scores Top-25 at Pocono

David Ragan, driver of the No. 23 Dr Pepper Toyota Camry, scored a top-25 finishing following the Axalta 400 at Pocono Raceway.

“It was a solid day for our Dr Pepper team,” Ragan said following the Axalta 400. “We were able to stay on the lead lap all day and learned a lot that we can use when we come back here in August.”

After rain postponed the race to Monday afternoon, Ragan and crew chief Patrick Donahue worked on dialing in the Dr Pepper Camry which was loose early in the race.

Stretching their fuel mileage until the end of the race, Ragan was able to pick up positions as the final laps ticked away. As the checkered flag flew, Ragan brought home a 23rd place finish for the No.23 BK Racing team.

Ragan’s finish at Pocono adds to BK Racing’s top-25 tally, which now stands at seven for the season.

Ragan and the No. 23 team now head to Michigan International Speedway for the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday, June 12
