The Kyle Busch Foundation has started a new partnership with Brides Across America which will include a bridal gown giveaway event at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Thursday, June 30, as part of our country’s Independence Day celebrations to thank military members and their families for their service and sacrifice.
All brides dream of having the perfect dress for their special day. For military brides, deployments, financial hardships and other challenges unique to servicemen and women can make it difficult to plan a wedding. Brides Across America (BAA) plays a role in making their dreams come true by giving military brides, first responder brides and family of fallen soldiers a free wedding gown during a Brides Across America’s Nationwide Gown Giveaway.
In 2008, Heidi Janson founded Brides Across America. She was inspired to do something special to express gratitude for the dedicated men and women of the United Sates Armed Forces. BAA began its work with a small network that donated time and resources to head up the inaugural program. In that first year, 50 gowns were given away to military brides. Since then over 15,000 gowns have been donated to deserving military brides.
The Kyle Busch Foundation (KBF) became involved with BAA when they approached executive director, Samantha Busch about designing a wedding gown for their line. Busch, who has a passion for design and fashion, jumped at the chance to create a signature gown which will be available to military brides later this year.
“Planning a wedding can be stressful for even the most organized person,” Busch said. “Having to do that when a fiancée is deployed, or if the bride herself is in the military, just adds to the pressure. Co-hosting this event with Brides Across America is something we can do to show our thanks and appreciation for all the military men and women who sacrifice so much for us.
“Being asked to design a bridal gown for them has been such an honor,” Busch continued. “I am so excited to see a bride actually wearing it and I hope they love it as much as I loved my own wedding gown when Kyle (Busch) and I were married in 2011.”

BAA representatives will be on hand at the Daytona event from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm to honor our military and first responder brides by providing them with free gowns and headpieces for their special day. Samantha Busch will also take part in the event from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, to help the brides make their selections.
