Greg Biffle drove his No. 16 ROUSH Performance Ford Fusion to a 12th-place finish Sunday afternoon at Martinsville. Biffle started 14th and about midway through the race was out of brakes due to battles for position at the short track. Despite the brake issue he was able to keep the preferred bottom line and earn a 12th-place finish.
Greg Biffle qualified 14th in the No. 16 ROUSH Performance Ford and maintained that track position over a 90-lap green flag opening run. On the first pit stop of the day Biffle took just four tires, fuel and no adjustments. The No. 16 continued to handle well and only needed minor wedge adjustments over the first half of the race.
Biffle was battling to crack into the top 10 for many laps and burnt up his brakes around the midway mark of the race. Despite having to conserve the braking ability he had left to make it an additional 250 laps, he was able to stay on the bottom line and maneuver his way to a 12th-place finish.
