NASCAR fans can relive the thrilling 2016 DAYTONA 500 this weekend through thousands of different lenses. FS1 premieres the 30-minute, crowd-sourced 100,000 CAMERAS:  DAYTONA 500 at 6:30 PM ET (note: time corrected from previous information) on Saturday, Feb. 27, immediately following the network’s live coverage of the NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES race live from Atlanta Motor Speedway (4:30 PM ET).

The 30-minute special, the franchise’s third, weaves together fan and driver-generated video to tell the story of the 2016 DAYTONA 500, won by Denny Hamlin, from every conceivable angle, regardless of location.  The high-energy documentary captures the “life in a day of NASCAR” and how the sport connects people and communities at the track and around the world.  Video footage featured in the special includes:  pre-race footage submitted by drivers Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon; video from a GoPro camera worn during the day by Kyle Larson’s son, Owen; video captured from a camera attached to one of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds during the pre-race flyover; musician/actor Wyclef Jean’s footage; and submissions by Kelley Earnhardt Miller and Karsyn Elledge, niece and sister of Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Samantha Busch, wife of Kyle Busch.
