NBC Sports celebrates NASCAR playoffs with Quicken Loans $16M perfect grid challenge

After Saturday’s Sprint Cup showdown at Richmond International Raceway, 16 drivers are set to compete in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series Championship. Eleven of the drivers qualified by winning races and five fought their way in based off the season long points standings. The 16 drivers are now set to compete in a 10-race playoff leading up to NBC’s presentation of the Championship race from Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 22.

Fans have an opportunity to compete in a championship of their own by filling out a grid in Quicken Loans $16 Million Perfect Grid Challenge, as well as the Weekly Playoff Grid Challenge.Participants can predict how the 16 drivers will advance through each round of the Chase at NBCSports.com/GridChallenge. The prescient entrant featuring a perfect grid at the conclusion of NASCAR’s Championship event on November 22 will claim a $16 million dollar prize – one million to represent each of the 16 drivers in the Chase. Fans are able to make their picks until 2:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 20, 15 minutes before NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Chicagoland.

NBC Sports’ NASCAR broadcasting team already took the plunge filling in their predictions for the final ten races.

Fans will also have a chance to have their mortgage paid for a year by Quicken Loans in the Weekly Playoff Grid Challenge. As the NASCAR playoff field narrows through the Challenger, Contender, Eliminator and Championship rounds, fans can enter who they think will be the top three finishers in each race. By filling out their predictions, fans are entered to win prizes including a Roku streaming player and NBC Sports prize packs. Each correct top three prediction earns an entrant a point, and at the end of the 10 races the fan with the most points will receive mortgage payments for an entire year from Quicken Loans.
