Hornish and the team will have plenty of support from two RPM partners; GoBowling.com and DraftKings will adorn the No. 9 Ford and serve as primary partners at Richmond. The two companies know that Saturday’s night race will be watched by millions across the country.
“There is so much energy and attention on this race, it’s a night that you want to be a part of,” said Tom Martino, President of the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America. “We can connect with so many race fans and drive them to GoBowling.com and into our 3,500 bowling centers across this great country. Partnering with Richard Petty Motorsports and Sam Hornish Jr. allows us to be a part of a great day and hopefully we end the night with a win.”
“Richmond is a premier race night on the NASCAR schedule, and we are beyond excited to play a significant role in the race with Richard Petty Motorsports, Sam Hornish Jr. and the No. 9 team,” said Jeremy Elbaum, Vice President of Business Development for DraftKings. “It’s the last race of the regular season, and teams will be vying for the last spot in The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. It will be an amazing night for the sport and exactly why DraftKings wants to be involved.”
RPM is happy to have GoBowling.com and DraftKings support the team this weekend.
“We couldn’t be happier to have GoBowling.com and DraftKings continue their commitment with Richard Petty Motorsports,” said Mike Hargrave, Executive Vice President and CMO, Richard Petty Motorsports. “Saturday’s race provides them with a big stage on one of NASCAR’s premier nights. We’re looking forward to bringing their brands to the passionate NASCAR fan base this week.”
Hornish, a sports fan and casual bowler, is also looking forward to hosting GoBowling.com and DraftKings at Richmond.
“The night race at Richmond is a great race to host GoBowling.com and DraftKings,” said Hornish. “The energy is intense, and the competition is as fierce as any race. GoBowling.com and DraftKings are both fun partners with RPM. DraftKings is a new and exciting way for NASCAR fans to interact with its free NASCAR fantasy league and bowling is a fun and competitive pastime that my family and I enjoy. I’m happy for the opportunity to represent GoBowling.com and DraftKings at Richmond this weekend.”
The last race before The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup at Richmond will kick off under the lights on Saturday, September 12. Live coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.
