In only his 10th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start, Brian Scott and the No. 33 Shore Lodge Chevrolet qualified in the 16th position for the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Scott suffered a mechanical issue on lap 19 that caused an accident in turn one and ended the day for the Joe Falk Racing entry. Scott will return to the wheel of the No. 33 ACME / Kraft Singles Chevrolet SS at Dover International Speedway.

Brian Scott Quote:
“I have to apologize to the other teams that we took out. Of course the bad thing about Talladega Superspeedway is when something happens other cars are all around you, unfortunate short end to our day. ECR engines and RCR everybody at the shop does a great job. The horsepower, our engines everything has been great. On the NASCAR XFINITY Series side they ran flawlessly. I hate it for our partners Shore Lodge, Whitetail, Albertsons, everybody to have our day ruined so early.”
