Careers For Veterans To Ride with Brad Keselowski at Talladega

Something will be different about Brad Keselowski’s NASCAR Sprint Cup car during GEICO 500 weekend May 1-3 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

This weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, thanks to a cooperative effort between Miller Lite and Cooper Standard the rear quarter panels of the No. 2 Ford Fusion will feature CareersForVeterans.org, a veterans initiative created by Cooper Standard, a Brad Keselowski Racing Partner. Miller Lite and MillerCoors have enjoyed a longstanding partnership with Team Penske and Keselowski. Cooper Standard has supported the men and women who serve our country by helping them put their unique skill sets to work when they complete their service.  Since the inception of the program in 2014, the company has increased its veterans workforce by 14 percent.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to bring national attention to the Careers For Veterans program and it wouldn’t be possible without the cooperation of our longtime partner MillerCoors,” Keselowski said.  “There have been some big moments for me at Talladega and hopefully we can add a few more this weekend.”

The high profile platform is a direct result of Cooper Standard’s longtime partnership with Keselowski. Cooper Standard continues its long running relationship with Brad Keselowski Racing in 2015 as primary sponsor of the No. 29 Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Through Cooper Standard’s relationship with BKR, visibility for the Careers For Veterans program has dramatically increased.  The end result has been more veterans gaining employment once they return to civilian life.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway will be named the Careers for Veterans 200 – the second consecutive season the race will be presented by The Cooper Standard Foundation and Brad Keselowski’s Checkered Flag Foundation.  The Careers For Veterans 200 further supports Cooper Standard’s mission to bring national attention to the importance of hiring our military veterans.
