Food City 500 in Support of Steve Byrnes driver intro songs

Bristol Motor Speedway secured its status long ago as one of the tracks with the most unique driver introductions, allowing the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series premiere stars to choose their introductory song.

From Denny Hamlin’s “Teach Me How to Dougie” to drivers picking songs for each other, there have been many memorable moments.  The 2015 driver introductions for the Food City 500 in Support of Steve Byrnes were no different.

Saturday’s Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 winner, Joey Logano, walked out to the “Dukes of Hazzard” theme song with the Duke Boys. Jeff Gordon showed fans he isn’t slowing down in his last full-time season in the Sprint Cup Series, choosing to walk out to the beat of “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars.  AJ Allmendinger’s crew surprised him with “I Wish” by Skee-Lo.

Clint Bowyer continued his tradition of Blake Shelton’s “Boys ‘Round Here,” while polesitter Matt Kenseth rocked his way out to Megadeth’s “Symphony of Destruction.”

The Sunoco Rookie of the Year candidates had their first taste of driver introductions at the Last Great Colosseum. Jeb Burton chose “A Tale of 2 Citiez” by J. Cole for his inaugural walk and Brett Moffitt selected Change of Pace’s “Weekend Warriors” before heading out to tackle the World’s Fastest Half-Mile.
