“March Madness is one of the best times of the year,” said Elliott Sadler, driver of Roush Fenway’s No. 1 OneMain Financial Ford Mustang. “It seems like every 15 minutes there is another buzzer beater or a Cinderella team just knocked off a top seed.
“I’m a huge basketball fan and I follow college hoops all year long,” added Sadler, who once played collegiate hoops at James Madison University. “Roush Fenway Racing is doing a cool bracket challenge this year. Fans can fill out a bracket and play against all the Roush Fenway Racing drivers. Plus, I heard there will a bunch of cool prizes given to the top winners.”
Entry into Roush Fenway’s bracket will be accepted up until Thursday, March 19 at noon when the 2015 64-team tournament officially kicks off.
The team and its drivers travel to Southern California this weekend where all seven Roush Fenway teams will compete at Auto Club Speedway (ACS). Roush Fenway has won 15 times in NASCAR action ACS.
