Bray Pemberton Joins Tommy Baldwin Racing as General Manager and Chief Legal Counsel

Tommy Baldwin Racing announced today the team has hired Bray Pemberton as General Manager and Chief Legal Counsel for the two car NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Team. Bray, 29, is a 2012 graduate from The University of South Carolina School of Law and became licensed in North Carolina to practice law in July 2012.

“We are excited about bringing Bray onboard to manage the business and legal elements at Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR), said Tommy Baldwin, President of TBR. “This will give me the opportunity to focus on the big picture and spend more time building TBR into a championship caliber organization.

Prior to joining TBR, Pemberton, whose family has a long history in the sport of NASCAR, was general manager at Swan Racing and spent a short time with Randy Humphrey Racing. “While I am grateful for all of the opportunities I have had with race teams in NASCAR, I can honestly say I’ve never been so excited about the possibilities I now have working a-long- side Tommy Baldwin,” said Pemberton. “I have the utmost respect for what Tommy and Beth (Baldwin’s wife) have done over the past few years in building this team, basically on their own. I see so many great opportunities to help continue to grow their dream and see TBR compete with the top teams in NASCAR,” he added.

Tommy Baldwin Racing was formed in 2008 as a single NASCAR Sprint Cup team. The team is based in Mooresville, NC.
The mission of Tommy Baldwin Racing is to compete at the highest levels of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series – eventually becoming a championship caliber organization, while building a successful driver development program.
