Harvey Gulf to sponsor Cassill in NASCAR Sprint Cup season finale

Hillman Racing today announced that Harvey Gulf International Marine, a marine transportation company that specializes in providing offshore supply and multi-purpose support vessels for deepwater operations in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, will sponsor Landon Cassill and the No. 40 Sprint Cup Series entry at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Sunday’s season-ending Ford 400. Founded in 1955 by Captain Numa J. Guidry on the premise that superior performance and safer operations provide its customers value and satisfaction, Harvey Gulf’s trademark livery will be the backdrop of Cassill’s No. 40 Harvey Gulf Chevrolet SS.

“I met Shane Guidry and the folks from Harvey Gulf earlier this season and having them on the car this weekend really adds an exclamation point to our season,” said Landon Cassill, the 24-year-old former development driver for Hendrick Motorsports and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native. “Harvey Gulf represents the ninth different primary sponsor that we’ve had this season and we couldn’t have accomplished as much as we did without the help from all of our sponsors. From our 12th-place finish in the season-opening Daytona 500 to our fourth-place finish at Talladega just a few weeks ago, Mike Hillman and the entire organization put forth a tremendous effort to take this team to the next level. With the addition of Harvey Gulf this weekend in Homestead, we were able to secure an ECR engine package and we’re looking to finish out the season strong as we continue to build for 2015.”
