For the final superspeedway race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, Kyle Larson welcomes Energizer® to the track as the primary sponsor on his No. 42 Chevrolet SS. Larson will trade in the familiar Bullseye on his hood for the iconic Energizer® Bunny, as he looks to keep “going and going” around the fast Talladega Superspeedway.
At Talladega, Energizer® once again looks to provide fans with fun, exciting and unique experiences. Larson looks to bring the excitement on the track, and a SWAP team will provide some fun off the track. During the race weekend, the SWAP team will take to the campgrounds to trade out race fans’ batteries with Energizer® Powerseal batteries. The Powerseal batteries give consumers peace of mind by protecting devices from damaging leaks, which has been a longstanding, industry-wide issue with alkaline batteries.
Target Chip Ganassi Racing and Energizer® have enjoyed a strong relationship through the years as a fixture with the team in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the Verizon IndyCar Series. A highlight of that relationship was breaking a Guinness World Record in 2011 at Charlotte Motor Speedway for most flashlights lit simultaneously. Energizer® provided 65,000 fans with LED lights as they entered the track to break the record.
