Roush Fenway Racing Launches “Pit for a Pair” Program in Support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October

Roush Fenway Racing has launched the ‘Pit for a Pair’ program in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and National Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. The program will feature various pink themed paint schemes on Roush Fenway Racing Fords during the month of October, specialized driver/fan engagement and a call to action for fans to download the NBCF’s Early Detection App.

Roush Fenway will run special pink themed Ford Mustangs in this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kansas Speedway, with the Ford Mustangs of both Trevor Bayne (AdvoCare) and Chris Buescher (Roush Performance Parts) raising awareness for the cause. The Roush Fenway Ford Fusions of Greg Biffle (3M), Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (Pit For a Pair) and Carl Edwards (Ford EcoBoost) will all feature the color pink at the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Martinsville Speedway. In addition, crew members and team personnel will wear special pink ‘Pit for a Pair’ attire during the race weekends.

Fans are encouraged to use the special hashtag #Pit4aPair when socially engaging about the program. The program also features the Roush Fenway “Real Men Wear Pink” contest where fans are encouraged to vote on one of two pink items that Roush Fenway Sprint Cup drivers Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will wear during driver introductions later this month at Martinsville Speedway.

In addition, Roush Fenway will make available special “Pit for a Pair” merchandise to the public, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the NBCF.
