Kevin Harvick Foundation tees it up with The Wyndham Championship for fifth annual pro-am

The 75th annual Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C. teed off today with the fifth annual Kevin Harvick Foundation Pro-Am Presented by Technology Concepts & Design, Inc. and BB&T.

 

The Kevin Harvick Foundation Pro-Am once again opens the renowned golf tournament, in an effort to raise money to benefit underprivileged children. The Wyndham Championship runs Aug. 14-17 at Sedgefield Country Club.

 

Several of the PGA TOUR’s biggest names, including Boo Weekly, John Daly, Chad Campbell, Billy Hurley III and Rocco Mediate, teed off with Harvick, co-founder of The Kevin Harvick Foundation, as well as other amateur golfers on three-person Pro-Am teams.

 

“Mark Brazil, Bill Johnson of Technology Concepts & Designs, BB&T and the Wyndham Championship have done a great job with Monday’s Pro-Am,” Harvick said. “Over the last five years I have seen our Foundation grow and a big part of that is the commitment and exposure this golf tournament gives us.”

 

The mission of the Kevin Harvick Foundation, founded in 2010 by Harvick and his wife, DeLana, is to positively enrich the lives of children throughout the United States.  The Kevin Harvick Foundation Pro-Am is one of several events scheduled throughout the year to raise money to support children in need.
