Cheez-It, Roush Fenway Look for Big Weekend of ‘Snacking at the Glen’

Kellogg Company and its Cheez-It brand are readying for one of its biggest weekends of the season as the NASCAR circuit rolls into Watkins Glen International Speedway. Not only will Cheez-It serve as the entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race on Sunday, but it will also boast primary paint schemes on the No. 60 Ford Mustang driven by Roush Fenway rookie Chris Buescher in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, as well as the No. 99 Ford Fusion driven by Carl Edwards on Sunday.

Carl Edwards, who posted a dominant win on the road course in Sonoma earlier this season, will look to sweep NSCS road-course competition with a win in Sunday’s Cheez-It 355. Edwards has been solid at The Glen, with four top-five and six top-10 finishes in nine career Cup starts at the track.

On Saturday, Buescher will kick-start the Cheez-It filled weekend, piloting his No. 60 Cheez-It Ford Mustang in his first NASCAR Nationwide Series career start at the famed road course.

In addition, Roush Fenway Racing will roll out a variety of social media activities leading up to and throughout the race weekend to showcase Cheez-It and its stable of drivers.

Fans are encouraged to join Roush Fenway drivers and crew members in using the hashtag #CheezeItSelfie to socially capture Cheez-It inspired moments throughout the weekend.

In addition, Roush Fenway has released a series of short videos on YouTube and on Facebook, highlighting the team’s partnership with Cheez-It and the big race weekend at The Glen.
