Pirate oilfield services to sponsor Cassill at Texas

Hillman Racing and Joe Falk today announced that Pirate Oilfield Services, a top competitor in the oil and gas sector, will sponsor Landon Cassilland the No. 40 Sprint Cup Series entry at Texas Motor Speedway in the AAA Texas 500.  With over 50 years in the oil and gas business, Midland, Texas-based Pirate Oilfield Services’ recognizable logo will be displayed on the hood and rear quarter panels of Cassill’s No. 40 Chevrolet SS in next Sunday’s eighth race of the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. 

“This partnership is something that developed at the spring race in Texas,” said Landon Cassill, the 24-year-old former development driver for Hendrick Motorsports and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native.  “The guys at Pirate Oilfield Services are big NASCAR fans that don’t miss a race at Texas Motor Speedway, and we’re hoping this unique paint scheme will attract a few more sponsors to come along for the ride.”

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AAA Texas 500 will be broadcast live on ESPN from Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, November 3, with pre-race coverage beginning at 3:00 p.m. EST.
