Roush Fenway Racing to Host Annual Spring Fan Appreciation Day on May 22

Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) will host its annual spring fan appreciation day at its world headquarters in Concord, N.C. on Thursday, May 22.  The fan day is open to the public and will feature autograph sessions with each of RFR’s six drivers and team owner Jack Roush.

“This event is the perfect opportunity to show our fans how much we appreciate them,” said RFR President Steve Newmark.  “We see these fans cheering on our drivers at race tracks across the country, and this is our opportunity to welcome them into our home, show them around, and let them meet some of our partners who help us make racing a reality for all of us.”

The event will also feature free samples from RFR partners, concessions and a concert performance by RFR team crewman and hauler driver Jay Maybry. More than a dozen RFR partners will set up displays for the event, handing out product samples, setting up race-car simulators and helping the fans learn how important sponsorship is in NASCAR.

In addition, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will broadcast its popular mid-day show live from the event and RFR will again host a team and fan Google+ Hangout to its one-million plus circles.

The autograph sessions kick off at 10 a.m. with Jack Roush and NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Trevor Bayne, Chris Buescher and Ryan Reed.  Sprint Cup drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Greg Biffle will sign at 11 a.m., with Carl Edwards rounding out the sessions at 12 noon.

Autograph session tickets will be on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 8 a.m. with distribution lines opening at 5 a.m.
