BEN RHODES RECOVERS TO SECOND AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY

“We’ve had such bad luck this year, but our ThorSport Racing team has just been awesome. We had a fast Ford F-150 since we unloaded. A little bit of luck actually went our way this time, so I’m extremely happy about that. This is well deserved by our team – nobody’s been working harder than this team in the garage. I truly mean it – these guys have been working hard, getting these trucks together. Our pit stops were phenomenal, and Ford has been helping us immensely. It’s just been awesome, I can’t thank them enough.”

TOP 10 FINISH FOR GRANT ENFINGER/CHAMPION POWER EQUIPMENT AT CHICAGO

We started the race really tight, but we were able to get it a lot better after our pit stops. Unfortunately, we got some damage on our left front, and struggled after that. I’m proud of the effort from all of our guys to be able to salvage an eighth-place out of it tonight. We will be ready for Kentucky.”

MYATT SNIDER MAKES IT ANOTHER TOP-10 IN 2018 SEASON AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY

Tonight just wasn’t an execution night for us, but we still kept digging like we always do – we never gave up. Even though we were a lap down at the end due to a penalty on my part, we still ended up with a top-10 finish. It just goes to show that people, through determination, will get the best finish with what they’re given. I think it goes to show the strength of this Century Container Ford F-150 team. We’ll keep digging, and go to Kentucky, which is another track I’ve been to before. I’m confident we’ll have speed in Kentucky, we’ve had speed everywhere we’ve been. We just need a little bit of luck, and we’ll have a good F-150 when we get there.”

LATE-RACE PIT CALL RESULTS IN AN 11TH-PLACE FINISH FOR MATT CRAFTON AT CHICAGO

“Our pit crew did an awesome job – gained us some spots on pit road. Unfortunately, we struggled with the balance of our Menards Ford F-150 tonight. Junior (Carl Joiner, crew chief) made the call to pit under green late in the race, but unfortunately a caution came out shortly after we made a green flag stop, and we went a lap down. We were able to bounce back and finish 11th, so that shows the strength of this team.”
