Kevin Donahue Returns To Kansas In #63 Mittler Brothers Chevy

A year ago Kevin Donahue made his intermediate track debut at Kansas Speedway.  Now he returns with more experience behind the wheel of the #63 Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool / Extreme Brand Products / First Responder Racing Chevy Silverado in the 37 Kind Days 250.

“It’s great to come back to where I made my first intermediate track start,” says Donahue.  “We had a pit road issue that cost us track position and dropped us to a 22nd place finish last year.  This time around, I’m hoping to improve on that.”

“Kevin is a very conscientious driver,” says team owner Mike Mittler.  “He never over-drives the truck and does his best to allow us to roll it back onto the hauler looking like it did when we rolled it off.”

And while the team will be racing just on the other side of the Kansas border, they will have a strong contingency of fellow Missouri companies supporting them. Based in Cedar Hill, MO, Extreme Brand Products mission is to be the leader in the research, selling and marketing of high quality race oil, race fuels & performance lubricants. Extreme Brand Products accomplishes this by ensuring that their products and service are of the highest quality. As the slogan states, “The Performance you expect comes from the quality we demand!”

Making their debut on the #63 Chevy is Camp-Zero Coolers, a Fenton, Missouri based company that offers Ruggedly Cool outdoor products that are affordable and most importantly designed to withstand the rigors of the outdoors. The Camp-Zero brand has unique design features, such as a wide variety of colors, molded in cup holders, over-sized reversible anti-skid rubber or hard slide feet on the bottoms and a quick drain system with a tethered never lose plug.

Also continuing their support of the #63 Chevy Silverado are SP Air USA, Inc. Spanesi Americas, FS Curtis, Leacree, Gateway Kartplex, MARADYNE® High Performance Fans, Mayhew Tool, Reikken, Excel Bottling / Ski Soda, Timken, MechanixWear and WIX Filters.

The 37 Kind Days 250 will also mark the first time Kevin will race against his younger brother Kyle on an intermediate track.  Having just turned 18, this is the first mile and a half race Kyle has been old enough to run. He will be in the #83 Chevy Silverado. “We’ve raced against each other at Martinsville, so it will be fun to see who is faster on the bigger track.  I don’t plan on giving him a belated birthday gift of letting him run faster than me, though,” jokes Kevin.

The 37 Kind Days 250 at Kansas Speedway will be broadcast on FoxSports1 (FS1), MRN and SiriusXM Channel 90 at 8:30 PM EST on Friday, May 11th.
