Contreras Motosports ready for Kansas Speedway

Contreras Motorsports has made a particular preparation work for this Friday race at Kansas Speedway. As result of the power failure that affected the Chevrolet Silverado #71 to leave the competition in Atlanta, the Contreras Motorsports crew chief, Tim Andrews, made an exhaustive review of all working systems in the truck looking forward to have a good race this Friday.

The multi-champion driver Mike Bliss, has been ratified as driver for this race. Bliss’s performance was remarkable in Martinsville and the experience of the Oregon born driver was demonstrated as the good competitive level necessary for Contreras Motorsports.

Contreras Motorsports will have the support of American Club Pipe Tobacco as sponsor for this event to contribute to the image of experience that the team is building.

Carlos Contreras, co-owner and Director of Racing Operations is confident about the challenge of this race. The main objective is to ensure a spot in the starting grid in the best possible position and from there build a strategy looking positions to the front. The performance of the Chevy Silverado #71 in the pre-race practices will be essential to meet the target, so the whole team is focused on working hard from the very first moment of the event.

The race this Friday’s night is scheduled for 7:30 pm local time, 8:30 pm ET and can be seen by the signal of FS1 in the United States and Fox Sports 3 in Mexico. Previous practices will be held on Thursday afternoon and qualifying for the race will be on Friday at 3:30 pm.
