Brad Keselowski Racing Enjoys Sizzling Start to 2015 Season

The start of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season couldn’t get much better for Brad Keselowski Racing.

The organization has racked up two wins in the first three races. Draw-Tite Ford F-150 driver Tyler Reddick scored his first career victory in the season opening event at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Two races later Joey Logano won from the pole position in the No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway, his first victory and pole in seven career NCWTS starts.

Reddick led the series championship standings after two of the first three races. He is the only NCWTS driver with a top five finish in every race and has an average finish of 3.67. Brad Keselowski Racing has led 203 of 488 total possible laps (41.59 percent) and has completed 99.79 percent of the total laps this season.

Qualifying has also been impressive. Three drivers (Logano, Austin Theriault and Brad Keselowski) have combined to give the No. 29 team an average starting position of 5.0 while Reddick’s average start is 7.0.

BKR has kicked off the season by winning, leading laps and qualifying well, a solid indication the team has improved its overall program in pursuit of the ultimate goal – winning a championship.

Team owner Brad Keselowski said winning two of the first three races is a “pretty big step up” for his company, quickly adding that he’s fortunate to have corporate partnerships in place to provide the necessary resources to be competitive.

“I’m fortunate to own a team that has very respectable funding because of great partnerships with Cooper Standard, Cequent, Broken Bow Records and Ford to keep our team at a very high level,” Keselowski said. “To win two of the first three races is a pretty big step up from where we’ve been with this program. I feel good about every race. We’re making a lot of investments to be a high caliber team that can win the championship year in and year out.

“It looks like it’s paying off right away. We still have a long ways to go and a lot of racing left to do this season. We want to win the championship. There’s a lot of work to do to make that happen but this is a hell of a start for that.”

Chief among those investments is a freshly remodeled 70,000 square foot facility in Statesville, N.C., that will soon be the new home to Keselowski’s racing operation. Why did the 2012 Sprint Cup champion make such a significant investment?

“I love this sport to death and I want to see it continue to grow and to be successful,” Keselowski said. “I want to reinvest in the sport so that it can be healthy and strong. Along the way obviously there are some personal rewards and incentives. Some of those drivers graduate to an elevated status and to know that you played a role in that is a phenomenal feeling.”
