Ryan Blaney Phoenix Preview

Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 29 Draw-Tite RAM, will make his eight career start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) on Friday evening at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR).

Draw-Tite returns for their final race of the season as the primary sponsor on the No. 29 Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) RAM.

Friday evening will mark Blaney’s first career NCWTS start at PIR. Blaney won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at PIR in 2011 in his only other start at the track.

The No. 29 team sits sixth in the owner point standings trailing the leading No. 31 entry by 75 points heading into race 21of 22 of the 2012 season.

“I’m excited to get out to Phoenix in the Draw-Tite RAM this weekend. We had some success last year winning in the K&N car, and hopefully some of that will translate over to the (NASCAR Camping World) Truck Series. I grew up on fast, flat tracks so this weekend should be a lot of fun.” – Ryan Blaney
