Todd Peck to Race SS Green Light Racing Entry at Phoenix

Peck Motorsports announced today that their driver, Todd Peck, will race the No. 08 Stopain/Arthritis Foundation Chevrolet in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event, the Lucas Oil 150 at the Phoenix International Raceway. The truck will be fielded by veteran truck series team SS Green Light Racing. Peck will be making his debut at the one-mile oval.

Peck, who suffers from arthritis, will continue to have the support of Stopain and the Arthritis Foundation this weekend. He brings the partners to the Bobby Dotter-owned team for this race only. The collaboration allows Peck a guaranteed starting spot in Friday night’s event allowing him to gain additional experience in the series.

The SS Green Light Racing and No. 08 team have had success this season posting three top-10 finishes and one top-five finish. Peck will be looking to make his fifth start in the series.

“Racing for Bobby (Dotter) just makes a lot of sense this weekend,” said Peck. “We’re a growing team, with strong marketing capabilities, but Phoenix is a new track for me. Going here with a guaranteed starting spot will allow me to gain the experience I need and give our partners the value they are looking for. I am thankful for this opportunity this weekend.”

Dotter is also looking forward to partnering with the young driver.

“I have known Todd’s family for a long time,” said Dotter. “They have deep roots in NASCAR racing and Todd is getting used to the ropes of the truck series. This weekend will continue to help him grow and gain experience. We’ll make sure that we prepare a fast truck for all his partners and fans. I’m looking forward to Friday night.”
