Arthritis Foundation Joins Red Horse Racing at Texas

The Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundras driven by Timothy Peters, Parker Kligerman and Todd Bodine in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will carry a decal for a special cause near the driver’s window at Texas Motor Speedway for the WinStar World Casino 350 this weekend. All three entries will be adorned with the Arthritis Foundation logo in an effort to help raise awareness for the non-profit organization’s efforts to reduce painful suffering in those affected by arthritis.

As the nation’s leading cause of disability, arthritis causes unacceptable pain and robs one in every five adults and 300,000 children the chance to live life to its fullest.  The Arthritis Foundation leads the way in helping people with arthritis live better today and create better tomorrows through new treatments, better access and, ultimately, a cure.  The nation’s largest private funder of research, public health programs and advocacy on behalf of the 50 million Americans who suffer from this disease, the Arthritis Foundation aims to reduce the number of people suffering from arthritis-related physical activity limitations.

The Arthritis Foundation funds life-changing research that has restored mobility

in patients for more than six decades, and fights for health care policies that will improve the lives of those who are affected by the disease. Fund raisers like the Jingle Bell Run, which will be held in the Dallas- Fort Worth, Texas area on December 8, 2012, help fund this research

and the programs that the Arthritis Foundation provides to families who are affected. Red Horse Racing hopes to help promote awareness about the disease and the goals of the organization through the special decals that will adorn the side of each of their Toyota Tundras this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

“The Arthritis Foundation is extremely excited to partner with Red Horse Racing,” said Susan Carter, CEO of the South Central Region, which includes Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. “Arthritis affects nearly 3.9 million people in Texas alone, and we hope to raise awareness about the #1 cause of disability in the United States with this unique opportunity.”

Supportive of the cause and raising awareness for the Arthritis Foundation, Red Horse Racing Managing Partner Tom DeLoach was eager to provide the space on all three entries for this weekend dedicated to the organization’s logos.

“This disease affects so many lives around all of us, so when Red Horse Racing was approached with the chance to join the Arthritis Foundation this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, we were more than willing to accommodate this wonderful organization and assist in promoting the cause,” DeLoach said. “Hopefully this opportunity will help the Arthritis Foundation become more visible and broadcast their cause to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series family and fans both at the track and at home.”
