Garrett Smithley Partners with ADAMA for ‘NIMITZ Night at NASCAR’ at Homestead

Garrett Smithley will return to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition this coming Friday with support from a new NASCAR sponsor – ADAMA.

ADAMA is a leading global manufacturer of crop protection solutions. With a comprehensive range of high-quality, differentiated and effective products, ADAMA strives to provide accessible, easy-to-use solutions that simplify the user experience while improving crop yields.

As part of its NASCAR sponsorship, ADAMA is featuring a new global innovation for the agricultural industry called NIMITZ.

NIMITZ is a novel, non-fumigant nematicide with a simplified application and improved safety features that are advantageous to farmer and consumer audiences. In its first year of commercial sales, NIMITZ has exceeded the company’s expectations in regards to marketplace performance and user satisfaction.

ADAMA is featuring its NIMITZ brand on the #63 MB Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado at the Ford EcoBoost 200 Championship Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 20, 2015.

Promoting year one sales success with this new offering, ADAMA has aligned the NIMITZ brand with NASCAR, Garrett Smithley, and MB Motorsports.

“I’m excited about the ADAMA partnership and their launch of NIMITZ,” Smithley said. “As a global leader in crop protection solutions, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is an ideal forum for ADAMA to demonstrate industry support while sharing insights on how products like NIMITZ help meet the constantly changing needs of farmers.”

“Plus, I love that NIMITZ purple. You won’t miss the #63 NIMITZ truck at Homestead-Miami Speedway!”

ADAMA spokesperson Herb Young believes his company’s alliance with NASCAR, provides a significant opportunity for expanding conversations about positive advancements within the U.S. agricultural industry.

“Innovative products like NIMITZ bring a progressive change to the forefront of U.S. food production. It also endorses a sustainable agriculture community that is favorable for a wide range of consumer audiences,” Young said. “With NIMITZ, ADAMA is proud of its ability in delivering customer-focused solutions with a promise to ‘Simply. Grow. Together.’

“Helping farmers produce a safe, abundant and affordable food supply for a growing global population is a privilege, and responsibility that ADAMA is committed to for the long-term.”
