Altec Inc will be joining in as the primary sponsor on the No. 1 Chevrolet Silverado. Ryan Ellis will be piloting this special Altec No. 1 during this weekend’s Drivin’ for Linemen 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park (GMP) in Madison, Illinois. Ellis will be making his first start at GMP. The No. 1 Altec team will be carrying on the message of the weekend to support all electrical linemen.

Local Union No. 2 is affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), the oldest and largest electrical union in the world. Worldwide membership is approximately 725,000. No. 2 is in the 11th District of the IBEW. Their main office is located in St. Louis, with a branch office in Jefferson City, Missouri. They currently have over 1900 members and are growing.
