Rockingham Speedway is a favorite track of the Burton clan, as father Ward Burton captured his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory in the 1995 AC Delco 400 at the famed North Carolina track. A year ago, Jeb Burton brought home an 11th-place finish in his first and only start at the one-mile oval.

After leading 154 laps and earning valuable bonus points, Burton and the No. 4 Arrowhead team brought home a third-place finish, a career best for the Rookie of the Year contender.

Jeb Burton on his Second Start at Rockingham Speedway

“Last weekend was a dream come true for me. Even though I wish I went home with the win, I’m focused on the bigger picture and it was a great points race for my entire team. My dad has a few trophies from Rockingham and I would love to add to that collection. My team and I are equally determined to make this dream a reality.”
