American Speed Association/Northwest Sprint Car Racing Association (ASA/NSRA) is excited to announce it has selected American Racer® Sprint Car racing tires for ASA/NSRA sanctioned events for the 2012 Championship season.
American Racer® offers two tire compounds for pavement winged sprint cars. The tire compound for the left and right front tires will be 131. For the left rear the compound will be 131. The right rear tire compound will be 132.
The left front tire size will be 23.5/10-15. For the right front tire competitors will have two choices; 24.0/11-15 or 24.5/11-15 tire. The left rear tire will be available in three sizes; 25.0/13.5-15, 25.5/13.5-15 or 26.0/13.5-15. The right rear tire size will be 27.5/17-15.
American Racer Tires was originally known as McCreary Tire & Rubber Company. In 1992 McCreary changed its name to Specialty Tires of America.
