Jeremy Clements Closes In On Chase Berth, Looks For Good Run At Road America

Coming off a strong sixth place finish at Bristol, Jeremy Clements and the JCR crew are looking for a good run at Road America for the #51 RepairableVehicles.com Chevy Camaro SS.

“Road courses are usually some of our best tracks,” says Clements.  “This year, though, we’ve been snakebit.  We had a trackbar mount break at Watkins Glen, then at Mid-Ohio we broke an A Arm after the defogger and windshield wiper quit working, so we need a good run at Road America to keep us in the hunt for a spot in the Chase.”

And in the hunt they are, just 22 points outside the 12th and final Chase spot, something that makes Brad Meyers of RepairableVehicles.com proud of “the little team that could”.  “We’ve been partnered with Jeremy and JCR for a long time now.  I find it impressive that this little family run team can go out and compete with teams that have Cup affiliations, either directly or indirectly, and still have a shot at the Chase.”

“This will be the third year in a row we will have RepairableVehicles.com on board at Road America and this time Brad and the crew will be there with us,” says Clements.  “Year before last we came home sixth, so hopefully we can pull off a finish like that again.  We need to if we’re going to race our way into the Chase.”

“One of the upsides of Jeremy being in contention for a Chase spot is that all the additional media attention he and the team are receiving is giving some major exposure to our sponsors and marketing partners,” adds CM2’s Nick Amadio.  “People are starting to see what a great value JCR provides.”
