Ross Chastain overcame handling issues to finish 22nd in Friday night’s Alsco 300 Xfinity Series race at Kentucky Speedway.
Chastain brushed the wall early in practice, and the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Chevrolet didn’t run properly from the start of the 201-lap race.
“We kind of missed the setup tonight, but we hung in there and got a decent finish out of it,” Chastain said. “Not the night we wanted, but to come back from trouble and finish strong is a good thing.”
Chastain stayed 13th in Xfinity driver points as the second half of the season began.
