Richard Petty Motorsports Partners with Rocky Ridge for Dover and Charlotte

Richard Petty Motorsports will partner with Rocky Ridge on a primary sponsorship at the Dover International Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Jeb Burton will pilot the No. 43 Rocky Ridge Ford for the next two NASCAR XFINITY Series races.

Based in Franklin Springs, Ga., Rocky Ridge is currently an associate sponsor on the No. 43 Ford Mustang but extended their relationship to come on board as the primary sponsor for two races, the Ollie’s Bargin Outlet 200, a Dash 4 Cash race at Dover International Speedway and the Hisense 4K TV 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“We’re excited to increase our partnership with Jeb (Burton) and Richard Petty Motorsports,” said Trent Cawthon at Rocky Ridge. “They have been great to work with this season, and I look forward to the increased awareness of our brand. We started as a small, family-owned company, just like the Pettys, and are proud that we get to team up for two primary races this season in the XFINITY Series.”

Burton is competing in his first full-time NASCAR XFINITY Series season and is competing for a spot in the new Chase playoff format. He is currently 11th in the Championship Point Standings.

“We’re thrilled to have Rocky Ridge increase their partnership with us,” said Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer Mike Hargrave. “With shared histories of family owned business that thrive on building high performance vehicles, Jeb and the whole RPM team is honored to have the opportunity to partner with Rocky Ridge.”

Burton will hit the track for practice at Dover International Speedway Friday, May 13.
