NXS: Hisense 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Preview

The NASCAR XFINITY Series rolls right into the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the 34th annual Hisense 250. The race will serve as the 12th race of the season for the NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers. Kyle Larson, who will pilot the No. 42 this weekend, comes into the race as the defending race winner.

The entry list features 42 drivers for the Hisense 250. Some of the faces include Kasey Kahne, BJ McLeod, Erik Jones, Ryan Blaney, John Wes Townley, Kyle Fowler, Austin Dillon, Timmy Hill, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Chad Boat, Kevin Harvick and Aric Almirola.

Chris Buescher captured the victory last weekend at the Iowa Speedway for his second career victory in the series. Buescher comes into the weekend looking to have another solid finish. He also leads the series standings by eight points over Ty Dillon. Buescher, a native from Texas, will make his 52nd NASCAR XFINITY Series start on Saturday.

Kyle Larson will step back into a NASCAR XFINITY Series ride on Saturday at the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway. Larson will make his fourth start of the season in the No. 42 Chevrolet. His last time out, which came at the Auto Club Speedway, Larson drove to a finish of seventh. He also drove the car at Daytona and Atlanta earlier this year.

Kevin Harvick will return to the series in the No. 88 Hunt Brothers Pizza Chevrolet owned by JR Motorsports for the sixth time of the year. Harvick will be one of the sharks in the water this weekend as he already owns two victories this year. One of those victories came at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in March, a sister track to the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway. The racing team will field four cars with Kasey Kahne, Regan Smith, Chase Elliott and Kevin Harvick.

The Hisense 300 will air live on FOX and FOX Sports Go starting at 2:30 p.m. ET. on Saturday afternoon. The Performance Racing Network will provide the live radio coverage of the race.
