LifeWay Men, a team at LifeWay Christian Resources, recently signed an agreement to broadcast Game Plan for Life, a live simulcast event on Saturday, May 26, 2012, featuring Joe Gibbs and Tony Evans.
“I am excited about the impact this is going to have on men around the world,” said Jason Ellerbrook, director of training and event productions at LifeWay. “More than 160,000 people attend a race at Bristol. The potential size of the audience and the influence of Joe Gibbs is a recipe for success.”
The event will be simulcast live online and available to individuals as well as churches across the country. In addition, through a partnership with Prison Fellowship Ministries the simulcast will be made available to prison facilities across the U.S.
Joe Gibbs, who coached the NFL’s Washington Redskins to three Super Bowl Championships and has won three NASCAR Cup Championships as owner of Joe Gibbs Racing, will speak about the impact Jesus Christ has had on his life as a man, husband, father, coach and NASCAR team owner.
In addition, Tony Evans, notable speaker and pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, will explain how men can go deeper in their walks with Jesus Christ.
In addition to viewing the event online, attendees can participate in the event in a number of different ways, including an exclusive and limited opportunity to join Gibbs and Evans live at the simulcast at JGR’s headquarters in Huntersville, N.C. Those attending in person will have the opportunity to choose from two special weekend packages to include:
— Meals Saturday and Sunday
— A tour of the JGR race shop
— Tickets to the Nationwide Race in Charlotte, N.C.
— Tickets to the Sprint Cup Race in Charlotte, N.C.
The Game Plan for Life simulcast follows Gibbs’ New York Times bestselling book “Game Plan for Life.”
