ustin Dillon and the No. 3 American Ethanol Team Miss Out on The Round of Eight in Chase for the Sprint Cup Tie Breaker

“It’s pretty nice to get another top-10 finish at a speedway but today is obviously not the ending that we wanted. We did everything we could. I’m proud of this entire American Ethanol team, but the good Lord has another plan for us. We’ll be back strong next year and compete for wins for the rest of this season. It’s just a bummer to finish this out with a tie. Unfortunately for our team, the tie-breaker went to the 11 car. Hopefully, we’ve raised a lot of money and awareness for our cause today, which is breast cancer awareness. We’re fighters and we’ll be back stronger than ever next year. I’ve got to thank my teammates for the pushes. They really tried to help me at the end there as much as they could. We just weren’t able to get that one more spot that we needed to advance. The ole’ girl just didn’t have enough to get the 43 car. It was so close.”

Paul Menard Finishes 13th in Final Superspeedway Race of 2016

“We had a strong SYLVANIA / Menards Chevrolet all weekend. Danny (Stockman – crew chief) and the guys worked hard and it showed. The top line seemed to work best all day. Although, when it came down to the lap few laps, nobody could make up any ground on the front-runners. I’m ready to get to Martinsville where we led laps and brought home a great finish in the spring.”

Ryan Newman Teams Up with RCR Teammates En Route to 14th-Place Finish at Talladega Superspeedway

“It’s good to come home with three intact cars after this event. Today was typical from the standpoint that I ran a conservative first half of the race in the Caterpillar Chevrolet. Our handling was fine and we had plenty of power. We just played the odds and made the move with 35 laps to go and did our best to help our teammate transfer in the Round of 8.  We’ll turn our focus to Martinsville next weekend.”
