Warnings Issued Following Bristol Motor Speedway

NASCAR announced warnings following the weekend events at Bristol Motor Speedway. All three racing series were on-track over the weekend with the Camping World Truck Series racing on Wednesday evening at the small 0.533-mile oval in Tennessee. There were no penalties given in all three series.

The No. 11, 18, 31 and 78 Sprint Cup Series teams were all given warnings for failing pre-race LIS twice. The No. 22 Sprint Cup Series team was also given a warning on Friday for failing LIS pre-qualifying.

The No. 3 and 93 XFINITY Series teams were given a warning for failing LIS twice during pre-race inspection. The No. 3 of Ty Dillon served their penalty at Bristol Motor Speedway after multiple previous warnings.

Crew member Ryan Southall has been placed on indefinite suspension for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy.

There were no warnings issued in the Camping World Truck Series.
