Pocono Raceway announced today they will offer a 10% ticket discount for first responders through their existing partner ID.me. First responders will also be able to receive additional benefits from dozens of others event venues and online retailers through ID.me’s award-winning identity verification service.

Pocono and ID.me began their partnership in May 2014 by first offering this verification service to U.S. military servicemen and women. The enhancement of their partnership now includes first responders, who will be able to instantaneously verify themselves against an authoritative database, and, once verified, enjoy the benefits offered at http://www.ID.me.

Founded by two Army Rangers, ID.me is a digital identity network that enables brands to securely offer exclusive promotions to specific communities by verifying the consumer’s group affiliation. Previously, retailers had no way to offer special discounts online for groups, as there was no widely adopted solution where brands could easily see if a consumer was eligible for a particular promotion.
