Timmy Hill and Team OXYwater Focused on Improvement Heading to Kansas

Coming off a disappointing weekend in Texas, FAS Lane Racing and rookie driver Timmy Hill are focused on continued improvement for their No. 32 OXYwater Ford as they head to Kansas Speedway. Hill will make his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start of the season in the running of the STP 400 at the 1.5-mile Kansas track on Sunday.

“Heading into Kansas, I have high expectations,”said Hill. “I had my career best Sprint Cup finish at Kansas last year and am looking to back that up with a better finish this weekend. With Kansas just getting a fresh repave, the playing field was leveled in a sense that all the drivers had to relearn the track. I quickly took a liking to the new surface at Kansas and with already having raced there with FAS Lane Racing, we know what to expect from each other going into the weekend. Taking time to regroup from Texas, I have learned a lot and am looking forward to bettering myself as a driver to give FAS Lane Racing and OXYwater the finishes we deserve!”

Hill, the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, piloted the FAS Lane Racing Ford to a 22nd place finish in last fall’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Kansas Speedway. In addition to the one Sprint Cup Series start, Hill has two other previous starts at the Kansas track in NASCAR Nationwide Series competition.

Also joining Timmy and FAS Lane Racing this week as Associate Sponsor on the No. 32 OXYwater™ Ford will be longtime partner Aladdin Holiday Inn Hotel Downtown Kansas City, an award winning boutique hotel and day spa.

The running of the STP 400 at Kansas Speedway will run this Sunday April 21st at 1:00 p.m. ET. The race can be viewed LIVE nationally on FOX and heard on affiliated MRN radio stations and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
