NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie driver Timmy Hill and the FAS Lane Racing team prepare for the grueling 600 miles that lay ahead this week. Hill and his No. 32 OXYwater Ford head to Charlotte Motor Speedway this week for the very popular running of the Coca-Cola 600. While the Memorial Day weekend event gives the FAS Lane Racing team a race in their hometown it also provides a chance to honor those that have served our great country.

"Charlotte is one of the races that I had circled on my calendar and am really looking forward to," stated Timmy. "Charlotte is one of the few tracks that I have already had Sprint Cup experience at along with it being my favorite 1.5-mile track. My debut with FAS Lane Racing came in the fall race at Charlotte last year and I feel we had a lot of speed but unfortunately our race ended short that night due to engine issues - but it left the team and I wanting more. The entire OXYwater team has some high expectations coming into this week. This will be my first 600 mile race so patience and focus will be keys for me throughout the night."

Hill, the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year, has five previous NASCAR starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway as well as a start last weekend in the Sprint Showdown.

Home Field Advantage...The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) heads home to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the first of two visits to the local facility in 2013. Larson has never made a lap at the 1.5-mile quad oval, but he'll have plenty of time to learn before taking the green flag. The weekend begins with a four-hour test session on Wednesday, followed by two additional practices on Thursday afternoon.

Back Home in Charlotte...Following a one-week hiatus, the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) returns for the 10th race of the season at Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS) on Saturday afternoon. Justin Allgaier has nine previous starts at CMS, including his NNS debut, with a best finish of third. Track activity for the NNS teams begins on Wednesday at CMS with a four-hour test session. Regular weekend practice begins on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

Darlington Recap...Allgaier qualified fifth at Darlington Raceway in the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro. He was the highest qualifying Chevrolet in the 40-car NNS field. After spending most of Friday night in the top-10 at Darlington Raceway, Allgaier brought his car home in the 10th position. With the 10th-place finish, Allgaier is currently fourth in the NNS Driver Point Standings.

Testing...On Tuesday, May 28 Allgaier and his Turner Scott Motorsports teammates will head to Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Va. The team is road course testing in preparation for the upcoming races at Road America, Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio.

Darlington Recap...Making his first career NNS start at Darlington Raceway two weeks ago, Piquet Jr. looked for a solid finish in the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200. Piquet Jr. and his No. 30 WORX Yard Tools team started the weekend by qualifying 21st at the 1.366-mile oval. Piquet Jr. was able to work his way through traffic and bring home the WORX Yard Tools Chevrolet Camaro with a 16th-place finish.

Held on Memorial Day weekend, the Coca-Cola 600 presents an opportunity for the NASCAR community to display appreciation for our country’s military forces. This year, Fastenal is proud to honor military service men and women, both active and retired, with a three-car tribute on the No. 16, 17 and 99 Ford Fusions at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

These three cars, known as the Fastenal Tribute Cars, will feature the names of current Fastenal employees who served in the military. David MacFadden (First Sergeant, U.S. Army) will be displayed on the hood of the No. 99, and Brian Ashbee (Chief Quartermaster, U.S. Navy) and Anthony Phillips (Private First Class, U.S. Army) will see their names on the hood of the No. 17.

As the NASCAR Nationwide Series prepares for this week's History 300 at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway (CMS),Parker Kligerman and his No. 77 Toyota Racing team will be looking to continue the history of success that Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) has quickly established at its home track. Including last Friday night's win with owner-driver Kyle Busch behind the wheel of the No. 51 ToyotaCare Tundra, KBM has three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victories in four events at the 1.5-mile Quad-oval and also posted top-five finishes in both starts at CMS during its inaugural Nationwide Series campaign last season.

Building upon success is something that Kligerman and his Toyota Racing team are familiar with, having carried the momentum from the late-season success that KBM's Nationwide Series program achieved in 2012 into the early stages of this season. Through nine races this season the No. 77 team is slightly ahead of where team owner Busch and elder brother Kurt had the program at the same point last year. The 22-year-old has his team 10^th in the owner's championship standings, compiling an average finish of 12.3 with two top-five and four top-10 finishes. Nine races into its inaugural campaign, the No. 54 team was 11^th in owner's points, posting an average finish of 12.7 with one win, two top-five and four top-10 finishes.

Charlotte was one of the best tracks for KBM's Nationwide Series program last season, with owner-driver Busch posting a pair of top-five finishes, including a third-place finish in the May event last year with same primary chassis that this year's team will unload Wednesday. Kligerman, who has three career starts at "The Beast of the Southeast," qualified eighth for an underfunded Nationwide Series operation in the 2010 spring event, but was relegated to a 43rd-place finish after being involved in a lap-four accident. The talented youngster posted finishes of 11th or better in each of his Truck Series starts, including an eighth-place finish in the 2011 event.

As part of NASCAR's American Salute, the No. 77 Toyota Camry will be sporting a special "Stars and Stripes" paint scheme for Saturday's 200-lap event. Kligerman will be looking to continue KBM's history of success at Charlotte and be the 'star' of the History 300 by crossing the 'stripe' at the front of the field.

Following an off weekend for the NASCAR Nationwide Series, the No. 4 Flex Seal Racing team is ready to race up front during the History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 25^th. The normal black and yellow paint scheme will be transformed into a Red, “Brite”,and Blue No. 4 Chevy to pay homage to the American Salute program.

Landon Cassill will again return to wheel the No. 4 Flex Seal Chevy, and will be making his first Nationwide Series start at the 1. 5-mile facility located in Concord, N.C. Cassill, who has raced at the track five times in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, has one top-20 finish to his credit.

After a top-25 finish at Darlington two weeks ago, the team has locked itself into the top-30, allowing a guaranteed start in the field. This benefit allows the team to work on race trim during the long practice sessions, which should pay off during the event.

The No. 4 Flex Seal team will utilize JDM Chassis 015. This car began the year as a member of the No. 01 team, and was raced at Vegas and California. Although suffering from a part failure in Las Vegas and resulting in a poor finish, the car raced competitively at Auto Club Speedway. The chassis has been refreshed for the weekend, and includes a special Red, “Brite”, and Blue scheme.
