The historic Darlington Raceway is partnering with WIS TV for a unique promotion for NASCAR Nite at the South Carolina State Fair on Oct. 17 in Columbia.
NASCAR Nite will feature prize giveaways, various showcars (including Rusty Wallace’s 2013 NASCAR Hall of Fame induction car) and an autograph session with Wallace, Joe Nemechek, Justin Allgaier and South Carolina native Jeremy Clements.
With the popularity of the autograph session, which takes place from 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 17, the autograph lines can form quickly so Darlington Raceway and WIS (host of the event) are partnering to give a lucky fan and a guest the opportunity to move directly to the front of the autograph line.
The winner will also receive two (2) tickets and two (2) pre-race pit passes to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Bojangles’ Southern 500, scheduled for Saturday, May 11, at Darlington Raceway.
“We’re excited to be able to give a lucky fan and their guest the opportunity to be in the front of the autograph line at NASCAR Nite,” Darlington Raceway President Chris Browning said. “The winner also receives tickets and pit passes to the Bojangles’ Southern 500 so this contest is perfect for a race fan.”
To participate, fans simply have to text “RACE” to 80310 from their Sprint smartphone or other mobile device and they are entered into the drawing. Message and data rates may apply.
The winner will be selected by WIS and contacted on Oct. 16, the day before NASCAR Nite.
