Florida Georgia Line to Rock Saturday Night Infield Concert

Talladega Superspeedway is proud to announce that rising country rock duo Florida Georgia Linewill perform the Saturday night infield concert on October 6thduring the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 Weekend.  This Talladega tradition is always a highlight of race weekend that transforms the Talladega infield into the biggest party in NASCAR.

Recently signed to Republic Nashville, Florida Georgia Line (Monroe, Georgia’s Tyler Hubbard and Ormond Beach, Florida’s Brian Kelley) has been on a full-throttle venture all across the country with its hard-rocking, high-energy live show, opening for superstars Gary Allan and Brantley Gilbert as well as being selected for “CMT On Tour” with Jake Owen this fall. The duo’s Top 40-and-rising debut single “Cruise”, from the EP It’z Just What We Do, showcases FGL’s knack for infectious hooks and honest, expressive lyrics. The single has sold over 300,000 copies since its release just four months ago. To sum it all up, Florida Georgia Line knows how to rock full houses and start parties with its country meets alt-rock sound—the perfect mix for a Talladega Saturday night.

“We are excited to announce Florida Georgia Line as the entertainment for Saturday night,” said Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch.  “They are an impressive live band that has been filling venues across the country.  This concert is a great addition to what will definitely be a memorable weekend here at Talladega Superspeedway.”

To gain entry to the Saturday night concert, fans must present a ticket for the Sunday race or have an infield admission.  The stage will be located near the intersection of Talladega and Eastaboga Boulevards in the infield.  The concert will begin at 7:30 and include an opening performance by Talladega favorite Tim Dugger.
