Award-Winning Country Music Duo Montgomery Gentry To Perform Pre-Race Concert For 58th Annual Coke Zero 400

Montgomery Gentry, the multi-platinum country music duo comprised of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, will perform a 60-minute pre-race concert on Saturday, July 2 prior to the 58th annual Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

“Having Montgomery Gentry at the ‘World Center of Racing’ is guaranteed to get our fans ready for the Coke Zero 400,” said Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile. “They’ll bring great sound and energy and are a perfect way to kick off the festivities we have planned around the Saturday night, prime-time race. The Coke Zero 400 is a true American sports tradition and we’re proud to have Montgomery Gentry help us renew that tradition for our fans.”

Montgomery Gentry returns to Daytona International Speedway after having recently participated in the inaugural Country 500 – The Great American Music Fest on Memorial Day weekend. The country music duo has released 11 albums, three of which have gone platinum: Tattoos & Scars, My Town and You Do Your Thing. Their most recent album, Folks Like Us, was released in June 2015. The duo has received many accolades over the years as well, being named Favorite New Artist – Country at the American Music Awards in 1999, Duo of the Year by both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association in 2000 and they were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009 and the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame last year.
