Phoenix International Raceway extends Black Friday, Cyber Monday sales through end of week

For people looking for that perfect gift for the race fan in their life, Phoenix International Raceway has extended its Black Friday and Cyber Monday special offers through the end of the week.

That means four extra days to take advantage of holiday sale pricing on tickets for both the Good Sam 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on March 13 and the Phoenix Grand Prix Verizon IndyCar Series race on April 2.

PIR’s “Fast Friday 2-for-1 Package” includes one ticket in the Richard Petty Grandstand for the Good Sam 500 and one seat in the Bobby Allison Grandstand for the Phoenix Grand Prix for just $79. That represents a savings of nearly 35% over race week pricing for the combination. The Fast Friday offer is valid through Friday, December 4 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

The “Cyber Monday Fun Day Package” includes a ticket in the Jimmy Bryan Grandstand or the Bobby Allison Grandstand for the Good Sam 500, along with a FanVision rental for just $59, a savings of more than 40% compared to race week pricing.  The offer is also valid through Friday, December 4 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

The Good Sam 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekend will take place March 11-13, 2015, starting off with Gatorade Pole Qualifying for the Good Sam 500 on Friday, March 11. Saturday, March 12 will feature the Axalta Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200 NASCAR XFINITY Series race; and the Good Sam 500 will take the green flag on Sunday, March 13.

The Phoenix Grand Prix Verizon IndyCar Series will be run under the lights on Saturday night, April 2, with practice sessions on Friday, April 1. With speeds in excess of 180 mph on the one-mile oval and the added thrill of night racing, the Verizon IndyCar Series promises to put on a spectacular show.
