Mark-Paul Gosselaar named Grand Marshal for Hollywood Casino 400

Actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar has been chosen to give the most famous words in motorsports – “Drivers, Start Your Engines” – for the Hollywood Casino 400 on Oct. 18.

Gosselaar currently stars as Mitch on NBC’s new comedy “Truth Be Told,” which premieres on Friday, Oct. 16. Prior to his current role, his extensive and successful television career has had him starring in a number of series, including “Commander In Chief,” the critically acclaimed drama “NYPD Blue,” “Raising the Bar,” and most recently in “Franklin & Bash.” Gosselaar made his television debut as Zack Morris in the popular teen sitcom “Saved by the Bell.”

He has a passion for a variety of sports, including golf, hockey, cycling and motorcross racing and is also an avid pilot.

Racing returns to Kansas Speedway as this October with the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season finale (Full Throttle S’loonshine 98.9) on Oct. 16, the NASCAR XFINITY Series (Kansas Lottery 300) on Oct. 17, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (Hollywood Casino 400, the fifth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup) on Oct. 18, and tickets are currently on sale and available by calling 866.460.7223, logging onto www.kansasspeedway.com or at the Kansas Speedway Ticket Office Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 5 PM.
