Earnhardt, Jr., who went to Gatorade Victory Lane in the GEICO 500 at NASCAR’s Most Competitive track – Talladega Superspeedway – in May, claimed his second dramatic victory of the year last night at Daytona International Speedway in the Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola.
The “Two for $88” Dale Jr. Talladega package gives fans a $32 savings off the regular price for two Lincoln Grandstand tickets to the Sunday, October 25, Alabama 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race –the final race of the Contender Round in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup where the field of 12 eligible drivers for the title will dwindle to eight. An emotional Earnhardt, Jr. won at Talladega in May in convincing fashion, leading 67 of the 188-lap event. It marked his sixth triumph at NASCAR’s Most Competitive track, tying Jeff Gordon on the all-time win list at the 2.66-mile, 33-degree banked venue. He is the only driver in history to win four consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at the biggest, baddest track on the planet. His Daytona win guaranteed his place in the 16-driver Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
“Dale Jr.’s win here in May was one of the most memorable that we have ever had,” said Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch. “The fans stayed in the grandstands for more than 30 minutes after the race’s conclusion. It was something that humbled Dale Jr. He knows that there are many Earnhardt fans that come to Talladega as he continues the legacy that his father Dale Earnhardt, Sr., began.”

This year’s Alabama 500 will be the sixth event in the 2015 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. After each showed muscle by leading laps, it was Keselowski who took the checkered flag.
