Toyota/Save Mart 350 Preview Show Debuts on CSN Bay Area This Week

Race fans can get a jumpstart on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend at Sonoma Raceway with the “Toyota/Save Mart 350 Preview Show” on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

The half-hour show debuts on Wednesday, June 3, at 8 p.m. (Pacific) on CSN Bay Area and will also air on the following days and times leading up to NASCAR race weekend, June 26-28:

·        Friday, June 5, 3 p.m.

·        Saturday, June 6, 6:30 p.m.

·        Thursday, June 11, 10 p.m.

·        Saturday, June 13, 10 p.m.

·        Sunday, June 14, 9:30 p.m.

·        Thursday, June 18, 4 p.m.

·        Friday, June 19, 1 p.m.

·        Wednesday, June 24, 8:30 p.m.

·        Thursday, June 25, 4:30 p.m.

This year’s preview show will include a feature on Vallejo native Jeff Gordon, who will take his final green flag in Sonoma as a full–time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver later this month. Other features include Carl Edwards’ move to Toyota with Joe Gibbs Racing and a look at Elk Grove’s Kyle Larson making his way up in NASCAR’s premier series.  Fans will also enjoy interviews with top drivers, including two-time Sonoma winner Tony Stewart, defending Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski, 2012 Sonoma winner Clint Bowyer and team owner Chip Ganassi.

This marks the 17th consecutive year for the Emmy-nominated show, which will be hosted by Comcast SportsNet anchor/reporter, Mindi Bach. The show will also air on CSN California  (www.CSNCalifornia.com) and CSN Northwest (www.CSNNW.com), so check local listings for days and times.

Race fans can also tune into CSN Bay Area each Thursday for “Race Week,” the only weekly half-hour motor-sports program based in Northern California. The show offers a weekly glimpse into motor-sports at both the regional and national levels. It airs most Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. (Pacific).
