Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities Announces “Dinner with Jeff Hammond”

The Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) is excited to announce their 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner with this year’s Guest of Honor, Jeff Hammond. The event will take place on Monday, June 15 at Receptions Banquet and Conference Centers in Erlanger, Kentucky, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

 

Seats and tables for this event are available as pre-sale only and are first-come, first-served. Tickets will not be sold at the door. The evening includes a plated dinner, silent auction, premium gift and Q&A session with Jeff Hammond. As an added bonus, the youngest Daytona 500 winner in NASCAR history, Trevor Bayne, will make a special appearance.

 

Each table of eight is $900, or individual seats can be purchased for $125 each. All funds raised during the event are put directly back into the tri-state community through SCC’s annual grant distribution program, where funding is provided to non-profit children’s organizations who care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need.

Chapter Director Dayna Winslette is excited that fans will be able to experience this unique interaction firsthand. “Jeff Hammond’s experience in NASCAR spans four decades, so imagine the stories he will share with our dinner guests. Starting as a pit crew member in 1974, Jeff worked his way up to crew chief, winning three championships with Cale Yarborough and Darrell Waltrip. Now, fans enjoy his industry insight as a FOX Sports analyst. Trevor Bayne will also be able to add an element of the new-school racing to the discussions, as he shares his experience as a Daytona 500 Champion.”
