Memphis International Raceway (MIR) and 2nd Hand Power Speed Shop announce the continuation of their partnership during the 2015 season. 2nd Hand Power will up its level of partnership by becoming the class sponsor for all Stock/Super Stock events held during the Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams in 2015.
“2nd Hand Power has been a supporter of MIR and our sportsman racing program since its inception. We are pleased to continue our relationship by taking it to the next level in the 2015 season,” said Pam Kendrick, VP & GM of Memphis International Raceway. “Kenny Bomar is owner and operator of 2nd Hand Power as well as fellow racer and God Speed Ministries chaplain for MIR, which is great fit.”
2nd Hand Power (www.secondhandpower.com) is the Mid-South’s full service speed shop where they buy, sell, trade, consign and install new and used performance parts for race or street cars.
“We’re here to help out the racers,” Kenny said. “Instead of having to wait a day or two for the parts they need, they can get their hands on them right away. We’re supporting the racers in the hopes they will support our shop in return. The partnership with MIR has been a good way to get our name in front of the racers in the area.”
The 2nd Hand Power Stock/Super Stock class participates in the Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams races throughout the season. There’s a total of nine 2nd Hand Power Stock/Super Stock events scheduled at MIR. In addition, with the sponsorship of the class – MIR will offer a 2nd chance race for all Stock/Super Stock participants on single event weekends.
